Bird Habitats
by Joel S Eckerson
Below are the proportions of breeding habitats for bird species found on the Robert D Wray Charitable Trust Property to-date. Percentage of suitable breeding habitat (gray) represents an estimate of the area currently capable of supporting the nesting and raising of young for a given species. Potential breeding habitat (orange) represents areas expected to become suitable breeding habitat with future restoration efforts. The remaining area, percentage of unsuitable habitat (blue), includes land that does not support the breeding behaviors of a given species (current and future).
